Note #2: Guitars with no serial number were produced at many different times. Samick branded models did not start using serials until around 1987. Jun 4, 2011 - I got hold of this bass a few days however I have no idea what model it is. Has no model numbers on the bass only a serial number.

Samick Bass Guitar Serial Numbers

Please add a detailed description to posts and titles. A friend of mine owns a Samick FA2.

He asked me to take a look at it because the input was broken, all fine, no biggie. HOWEVER, when I removed the little-plate-thingy (how is it called again?) and the whole cavaty was a mess. So i removed all of the plates and it is just horrible.: Very, very cheap pots, the woodwork is absolutly aweful. It looks like it has been done with a chisel and the whole woodworks is a disaster. Furthermore the bolt-on neck has way to much space (I can easily get 2 razors stacked between the neck and the body), the nut is loose and cut waaaaay too deep and the gloss is like a milimeter thick (personal preference?).
